Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 1st 2025

Welcome to Richard K Realtor (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing this website or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Overview of Services

Richard K Realtor offers premium real estate services focused on assisting homeowners in California with selling their property and relocating to another U.S. state. Our White Glove Relocation Package may include the coordination of:

  • Listing and sale of your California property

  • Moving and logistics coordination

  • Property search and acquisition in your new location

  • Contract handling and administrative services on both sides

  • Additional concierge-level support during the relocation process

All services are tailored to your situation and coordinated through licensed agents, contractors, and partners where applicable.

2. Use of the Website

This website is intended for informational purposes only. By using this website, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and are legally able to enter into contracts. You agree not to use the site or our services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

3. No Legal, Tax, or Financial Advice

While we may offer insights into real estate markets and lifestyle comparisons between states, no content on this website or provided during our services constitutes legal, tax, financial, or investment advice. Always consult your own licensed professionals before making financial or legal decisions.

4. Third-Party Providers

Some elements of our service—such as moving companies, inspectors, contractors, mortgage lenders, and title companies—are fulfilled by third-party providers. We coordinate these services for your convenience, but we are not liable for their performance, fees, schedules, or actions. You may be required to sign separate agreements with these providers.

5. Fee Structure and Payments

Our services may be paid in one of two ways:

  • Standard Payment: Fees are clearly disclosed prior to engagement and may be paid directly by the client.

  • Integrated Fee Model: Where applicable and agreed upon in writing, certain service fees may be added to your property’s sale price and paid at closing, resulting in no upfront cost.

All payment agreements will be documented and signed before any formal work begins.

6. Client Responsibilities

To deliver exceptional service, we rely on your full cooperation. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information about your home, finances, preferences, and relocation goals

  • Respond in a timely manner to necessary paperwork, decisions, or communications

  • Disclose any material facts about your home that may affect the listing or sale

  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws during the sale and relocation process

7. No Guarantee of Sale or Market Timing

While we aim to help you sell at optimal market value, we do not guarantee a successful sale, specific market timing, or a specific sale price. Real estate markets are inherently subject to economic fluctuations, buyer behavior, and regulatory changes.

8. Service Modifications or Termination

We reserve the right to modify, pause, or terminate our services at any time, with reasonable notice to active clients. If services are paused or canceled by you after formal engagement, fees for work already completed may still be due.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including text, graphics, logos, and layout—is the property of Richard K Realtor and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without express written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Richard K Realtor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our liability for direct damages shall not exceed the total fees paid to us by the client in the 90 days prior to any claim.

11. Privacy and Data Handling

We handle your information with care. For details on how your personal data is collected, stored, and protected, please see our [Privacy Policy].

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in California.
